GauthExpert Community Guidelines

GauthExpert is a platform that enables freelance tutors to provide academic training services to users, including answering and resolving specific queries and student homework.

We at GauthExpert consider it our top priority to offer a safe and supportive environment for our users. We will remove content that violates our Community Guidelines, including videos, audios, images, and text, and suspend or ban accounts that involve severe or repeated violations and notify the account holder of our decision.

Our Community Guidelines guide what is and is not allowed in our platform, and they apply to everyone and every content on GauthExpert. We may proactively implement these measures. Under certain circumstances where required by the law, we may go one step further and report the accounts to relevant legal authorities to keep our community safe.

We update our Community Guidelines from time to time to evolve with our community and keep GauthExpert a safe space.

Violent extremism

We do not allow violent extremists to use the platform to promote terrorism, crime, or other types of behavior that could cause physical injuries, violent activities and disrupt societal harmony in the real world. When there is a credible threat to public safety, we handle the issue by taking action against the account.

Do not allow:

• Promotion of international, regional, or any other type of terrorism.
• Threats of violence like statements of intent to inflict permanent and/or potentially life-threatening physical injuries to an individual or a group of individuals.

Illegal activities and regulated goods

We are committed to building GauthExpert as a safe educational platform that complies with local laws. We prohibit the trade, sale, promotion, and use of certain regulated goods.

Do not allow:

• Illegal activities include illegal trade or instructions to make firearms, firearm accessories, ammunition, explosives.
• Depiction or promotion of criminal activities like gambling, prostitution, and any human trafficking.
• Private, confidential, and personally identifiable information for others to use for abuse or other malicious purposes.

Violent and graphic content

We do not allow content that is excessively gruesome or shocking, especially such content that promotes or glorifies abject violence or suffering.

Do not allow:

• Gory content that is showing vivid imagery of bloody human wounds.
• Content depicting or promotion of animal abuse.

Suicide, self-harm, and dangerous acts

We do not allow content that promotes or encourages self-harm, suicide, or participation in activities that could lead to severe injury or death.

Do not allow:

• Depiction or promotion of suicide or self-harm, including tendencies or any suicide challenges.
• Depiction or promotion of dangerous acts that run the risk of causing severe bodily harm, such as dangerous challenges.

Hateful behaviors

We do not tolerate content that attacks an individual or a group of individuals based on protected attributes such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, severe disease, disability, or immigration status. We remove content that invokes hateful behaviors, including speech that dehumanizes or segregates a protected group. We also consider hateful content that will result in communal violence in the real world. We suspend or ban accounts that have multiple hateful behavior violations.

Do not allow:

• Content intended to insult an individual or group based on one of their protected attributes.
• Promoting or glorifying a hateful ideology or hate figure.

Harassment and bullying

Bullying is defined as unwanted, aggressive behavior among two or more people with the intent to harm, intimidate, humiliate, or coerce another individual, often perceived as vulnerable. We are promoting a community where users can safely express themselves. Content intended to intimidate, humiliate, cause emotional or physical harm to individuals is not allowed on the platform.

Do not allow:

• Bullying statements, including targeted swearing, expressing disgust or hate, aggressive insults, or making degrading statements on intellect, appearance, personality traits, or hygiene.
• Sexual harassment includes making statements of intent to engage in sexual activity or solicitation of sexual acts, simulating sexual activity on others, or using degrading terms of sexual activities.

Adult nudity and sexual activities

We do not allow sexually explicit or gratifying content on our platform. Sexualized content carries many risks and causes harm to our users, and overtly sexual content can be offensive.

Do not allow:

• Nudity, including full or partial nudity.
• Sexual activities, including penetrative or non-penetrative sexual acts, bestiality, necrophilia, and oral intercourse.
• Other sexually content, including sexually seductive behaviors and sexually explicit objects.

Minor safety

We are deeply committed to ensuring the safety of minors on our platform. We do not tolerate activities that perpetuate the abuse, harm, endangerment, or exploitation of minors on GauthExpert. We also do not allow content depicting minors engaged in delinquent behavior. We may report and escalate such content to relevant legal authorities to prevent ongoing or potential sexual exploitation or abuse towards minors. GauthExpert considers anyone under 18 as a minor.

Do not allow:

• Nudity and sexual activity involving minors
• Promotion of minor abuse.​
• Sexual exploitation of minors
• Grooming behavior
• Harmful activities by minors
• Physical and psychological harm of minors
• Crimes against children

Integrity and Authenticity

We do not allow content that is intended to mislead or deceive any of our community members endangers our trust-based community. We remove content or accounts that involve spam or fake engagement, impersonation, misleading information that causes harm.

Do not allow:

• Medical misinformation that can cause harm to an individual's physical health
• Content promoting malicious websites or false promises such as phishing websites.
• Giving instructions or encouraging others to participate in scams or frauds.

Intellectual property

Copyright is a legal right that protects original works of authorship (e.g., music, videos) and original expression of an idea (e.g., the specific way a video or music is expressed or created), although does not protect underlying ideas or facts.

A trademark is a word, symbol, slogan, design that identifies and distinguishes the source of a product or service.

Content that infringes someone else's intellectual property rights is prohibited on our platform and will be removed if we become aware of it. The use of copyrighted work under certain circumstances, such as the fair use doctrine or other applicable laws, or the use of a trademark to reference, lawfully comment, criticize, parody, make a fan page, or review a product or service may not be considered a violation of our policies.

Threats to platform security

In addition to the content and behavior outlined above, our policies prohibit activities that undermine the GauthExpert service:

• Do not hack the GauthExpert website, app, or associated networks, or bypass its measures to restrict users’ access.
• Do not distribute files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other materials that are malicious or harmful.
• Do not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or create any derivative products based on GauthExpert, including any files, tables or documentation, nor attempt to regenerate any source code, algorithms, methods, or techniques embodied in GauthExpert.
• Do not use automated scripts to collect information from GauthExpert.

Termination of accounts

We will remove any content that violates our Community Guidelines. Besides, we may also suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion. Without prejudice to any other guidelines hereof regarding termination, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account upon reasonable notice.
