Credit rules

Credits can be used for Pro AI features on CapCut. You can use credits for the 2 Pro AI features in the table below. The list of Pro AI features in the table will grow in the future.

There are 3 types of credits. They can be gained through different ways and are valid for different time periods. See the details in the table below:

Subscription credits will be consumed first, followed by activity credits and then purchased credits.

No, credits cannot be used to purchase Pro or space plans, transferred to another account, or exchanged to cash for withdrawal.

If you are a Pro member, you can tap “Exchange Pro uses to credits” when you try to use Pro AI features, and the number of Pro uses you have left in the current subscription month will be exchanged to a corresponding amount of subscription credits. After this exchange, you won’t be able to go back and use Pro uses for Pro AI features. Starting the next subscription month, instead of Pro uses, you will get subscription credits, which are valid for that subscription month. Compared to the previous number of Pro uses you get every month, you won’t be able to use as many Pro AI features with your monthly subscription credits, but you will be able to use them more freely.
If you are not a Pro member, you won’t need to exchange Pro uses to credits and can buy credits directly.

Yes, they can. Credits purchased with the same account can be used across devices regardless of their operating systems while signed into this account.

For mobile app users: open CapCut, tap the question icon on the Edit screen to enter Help Center, and then tap “Submit question.”
For desktop app users: open CapCut, then tap the dialog icon next to the settings icon in the upper right.

For mobile app users: open CapCut > Me tab > Pro > Buy and check credits or Use credits for Pro AI features > Total Credits.
For desktop app users: open CapCut > Join Pro > Use credits for Pro AI features.

Subscription credits: They will expire when your Pro plan expires. But if you subscribe to a Pro plan again, you will get new subscription credits at the beginning of the subscription month.
Purchased credits: 2 years after purchasing.
Activity credits: Their validity period is specified in the rules of the activity you gained them from.

Your subscription credits will still be valid until the end of this subscription month. Purchased credits and activity credits won’t be affected.

Are my credits still valid after I cancel my Pro subscription and then subscribe again?

Your subscription credits will still be valid until the end of this subscription month. And you will still get new subscription credits for the next subscription month. Purchased credits and activity credits won’t be affected.

Subscription credits are given at the beginning of a subscription month and expire at the end of that subscription month. For example, if you purchase a monthly Pro plan on June 20, 2023, your subscription credits for your first subscription month will be given on June 20, 2023 (the first day of the subscription month) and expire on July 19, 2023 (the last day of the subscription month).

Do subscribers of different Pro plans get the same amount of monthly subscription credits?

Yes, they do. All Pro members, regardless of their subscribed Pro plans, get the same subscription credits every subscription month.
